why mirror?
mirror solves a problem - sharing channel content with teams on other slack instances without having to invite slack guests or creating and maintaining extra permanent accounts.

why a bot and not an app?
Slack bots have the right security profile - they're only available once invited, only have access to the channels they're in, and speak only when spoken to.
share the content - not the channel
It's not a shared channel, you mirror an existing slack channel with an existing slack channel from a external team.
how it works
once installed, invited and linked, the mirror bot forwards all the messages, files and attachments to the remote slack channel, and vice-versa.
