Remember, your remote contact needs to have @mirror installed on their slack instance and invited to the shared channel too! They don't have to issue the link command though, mirror will figure out how to connect when you link.

    Install the mirror app & invite it in!

    If you haven't already, install the mirror app
    Add to Slack
    Mirror is a polite bot and must be invited to a channel to forward the content. Just mention @mirror in a channel whose content you want to share and Slack will ask you whether you want to invite the bot in.

    Get the URL of the remote team

    Your external contact needs install the mirror app and provide you with the URL of the external slack team they want you to link to. This link contains the channel ID, which would be really hard to guess. For example. our mirror-support channel is
    https://maclawran.slack.com/messages/CFMMBM5AP/

    Link the channels

    Now to link your current channel to our @mirror slack support channel enter:
    @mirror mirror https://maclawran.slack.com/messages/CFMMBM5AP/
